My name is Maria Cornwell I am the reborn artist behind Twinklestars Nursery
I have been reborning since October 2003 , it all began when my daughter brought me a  Welcome Home Emily in the august of 2004 and a friend reborned her for me, she encouraged me to reborn and I was so intrigued I looked onto eBay at the reborn babies and tried to find out where I could learn the art of reborning, this was very hard back in 2004, as there was not very much around for teaching I had some very basic instructions on how to reborn a Rosebud Berenguer, my husband brought me my first kit for my birthday which was the Berenguer Rosebud, and off I went, in those days of reborning  you had to take the doll apart, and remove the factory paint and then sand the head down as this was moulded and harder to root!! , I loved every minute of reborning this wonderful kit, although the biggest job was the rooting, as the vinyl was so hard, not like the kits you can buy now, we used stencil paints so the painting did not take too long, or have any detail or dimension, but I wanted to get on so much.

  I had a lot of questions on reborning, I tried to ask sellers that already had Reborns for sale but only a couple came back to me with answers and Ruth Annette was one of them !! she kindly answered my questions and after a while introduced me to  Simply Reborn on line lessons, and SR was my answer I had been looking for, to answer all my questions and so many friendly girls that have now become friends !! in the last  5 years of the reborn world, there have been many changes all for the better, new Sculpt artist, new Kits to reborn,  and many to choose from, materials easily available now in the UK , the international Dolls fair in the UK.

I enjoyed reborning so much that it is now my Career and business,, and I work from home, I have my own work room and photography studio, my babies have been adopted from lots of lovely Mummy's all around the world, and every time I hear from a New Mummy to say that the baby arrived safe and sound I am so overwhelmed to the response I receive, and these are the highlights of my career.  
I spend a lot of my time working on Custom orders, and my babies appear on eBay also.
